Naturalization Records Presentation A free presentation by Virginia Fritzsch of the Wisconsin Historical Society will discuss naturalization records. She will illustrate how useful these records can be by relating success stories in which researchers have discovered information that has helped them better understand the lives and times of their ancestors. 6 pm, Thursday, November 1 at the UW-Platteville Area Research Center Southwest Wisconsin Room Karrmann Library http://shsw.org/archives/arcnet/plattvil.html This event highlights Archives Week 2001 and October - Family History Month, giving archives an opportunity to use historical records to highlight the importance of family history in Wisconsin. This year archives focus is "Wisconsin Family History: Digging Our Roots". The ARC at UW-Platteville holds records of six Wisconsin counties: Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland.
