To: Juneau, Sauk, Richland, Adams counties, WI; GenWisconsin; and Methodist Rootsweb mailing lists. If anyone has other ideas of places to check, I'd appreciate the feedback. I should be on all the mailing lists I'm sending this out to, but please reply-to-all in case I didn't get signed up correctly. ------------- I'm trying to track down information on a preacher, Reverand Lyman Jackson, Jr., who apparantly died in Baraboo, Sauk Co., WI, and was buried in Lindina, Juneau Co., WI. His death date was in 1879. Reportedly he and one of his brothers were Methodist Episcopal Pastors. I can't seem to find anything on this guy in Wisconsin aside from his headstone, so I'd like to check with churches in the area and see if there's any old records of their pastors. The last place I found him was in 1850 in PA, and he somehow made it into the Wright household there, the same Wright household that made it to Kildare Twp., Lyndon Station, Juneau co., WI as one of the early pioneers. So, can anyone forward me to Methodist Episcopal churches in the are that have a long history? I would assume original buildings are probably no longer used, but the congregation may have remained stable in another location over the time period. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom Wright
