    1. [WIRICHLA] Help for a French school girl
    2. Tim Stowell
    3. I recently received the following. If someone can assist, please contact me. Thanks, Tim --------------- I am a french girl interested in the history of my village. Some people of my village settled in Wisconsin (Richland County). They are quoted in the chapter "Biographical". Their names are Jules François (1838-1916) and his uncle Jean-Baptiste Poinsot (1810-1875) who first settled in 1854 ; then came Claude François (1813-1889 buried in Loyd) and his wife Catherine who arrived in 1855 with their children (Claude called Francis (1843-1883), Séraphine 1845-1941), Charles, Louis and Marie) and a young boy Anton Rollet (born in 1835) whose parents crossed the Atlantic in 1856 (Pierre-Joseph Rollet (born in 1809) and his wife Barbe or Barbara Ruston). I would like to collect information about these people and their conditions of settling in the states and possibly get in contact with their descendants. Could you please help me ? Do you know a genealogical association I can get in touch with ? The place where all this people came from is called Guyonvelle a village in the Champagne area.
