Hi to all, As some of you know, I am working on a new project. Last month I was able to place the 1874 Richland County (16 Townships) Plat Maps online. For those that are new to genealogy research, a Plat Map is an effort to place the land owners names to the parcels of land they owned and print it out in map form. This is a great tool for tracking your ancestors movements. As of this morning, I was able to complete the 1895 Richland County Plat Maps. It was my intention to keep these images as small as possible for quick loading, but to see the detail of each section of land, each image is rather large. Please be patient as they load. Some computers are slower than others and browsers may be out dated as well. Hang in there, the wait is worth it. My next effort will be to add the 1919 Plat Maps.
