I appreciate the updated information. I am descended from Osborne, Fry, Gillingham, Marshall, and Harwood lines in Richland County. My of my ancestors are buried in the Concord Cemetery. Do you have any idea when a listing for that cemetery might be complete and posted? Great Site! Thanks. Lori, I have pics, taken on a recent visit in the Richland Center (Richland County) area. Actually these pics are taken at the Hopewell Cemetery located on County I, slightly west of County G in Richland County. I am curious as to whether or not you might be interested in the pics for site. Currently they are on 6 floppies but I do have the ability to transfer them to a CD, but if you want them sooner, we might be able to transfer them directly over the internet. Let me know if you would like these pics. Jude (unruh@bignet.net) (Judith E. SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Computer security experts on Monday warned of a new virus that deletes files while masquerading as a program that will allow people to vote on whether the United States should go to war over the Sept. 11 hijacker attacks. The ``Vote Virus'', which so far is not wide spread, circulates via e-mail to users of Microsoft Corp.'s (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) Outlook e-mail program, said Simon Perry, vice president of security solutions at Computer Associates International Inc. (NYSE:CA - news) The virus, punctuated by strange grammar and a mix of lower- and upper-case letters, appears with the subject line: ''Peace between America and Islam!'' and the body of the e-mail reads: ``Hi. Is it a war against America or Islam!? Let's vote to live in peace!'' Perry and other experts said. When the attachment entitled ``WTC.exe'' is opened, the virus tries to delete all the files on the computer's hard drive and sends copies of the e-mail to every address listed in the computer's address book, he said. The virus also defaces any Web pages that are hosted by an infected computer to read: ``America ... few days will show you what we can do!!! It's our turn ))) ZaCker is so sorry for you,'' according to Perry. For more go here: http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/20010924/wr/tech_votevirus_dc_2.html Nancie Dobyns
I'll send copies of a smaller version to those who request it. In the meantime I've decided to go ahead and place the graphic on the Richland County page along with a link to a site that shows the world offering rememberances as well. How right you are Karla. I was with the army aviation test board for a year. I had a secret final clearance. This is one step below top secret. We were to talk to no one about our work. After a while it became second nature...a habit. If I had been one to brag or talk about my work, I no doubt would have been replaced. To this day when I tell someone about my duties thirty five years ago, I tell them I swept the hangar floor. If one talks, one will eventually let something slip. Better not to talk at all. The Richland Center railroad depot built in 1909 is almost restored. The dedication will be during the Center Color Fiesta, October 5, 6 & 7. The interior of the depot will be office space for Richland Center Chamber of Commerce, economic development and vistors center for Richland County. The restored depot will look very different than what we are used to seeing. Instead of white paint, it will be restored to a dark rusty brown with dark green trim. These colors are matched from the actual paint samples found on the building during the restoration. (for a photo of how the depot looked the past several decades look here) http://www.richlandchamber.com/chamber.shtml The awning will be recreated on the north end of the depot. Engraved bricks are being sold for $35 each, these will be laid underneath the awning. If you wish to have up to up to 30 letters in 3 lines engraved in a brick (about 10 characters per line - maximum of 13), you may contact <info@richlandchamber.com> Chamber Office, 174 S Central Ave.
The Little Brown Church of Bear Valley Annual Service will be held Sunday, Sept 9 at 10:00am. Everyone is invited to come and worship with us. Pastor Keith Aurand of the Gotham, Avoca and Wyoming Valley Methodist Church will conduct the Service.

On page 1005 of the Richland County History (Buena Vista Township), there is reference made to a James A. Bills who married a Permelia Emerson from Erie County, PA. Can anyone tell me where I might begin to find more information on these individuals?
