She had been in ill health for many years and her death was caused by a heart ailment. Mrs. Wisnewski was born in Poland on December 16, 1857, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tork. She was married in Poland to a Mr. Michalski. They came to this country about 50 years ago and located at Mill Creek where Mr. Michalski died 20 years after their marriage. Her marriage to Jake Wisnewski took place 44 years ago. Mrs. Wisnewski continued to reside at Mill Creek until going to Manitowoc three years ago. Surviving are her husband in Fond du Lac, five children, Mrs. Albert Gruczik of City Point, Nick Wisnewski, 315 Algoma street, Frank Wisnewski of Manitowoc, Carl Wisnewski of Junction City and Mrs. Barney Wayerski of Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Anastatia Mosey of Stevens Point, Mrs. Ed Przybylski of Dancy and Mrs. Nick Klish and Mrs. Peter Shulke of Mill Creek; 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild, A brother and sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning a 9 o'clock at St. Bartholomew's church at Mill Creek and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The body is at the Boston funeral home where the rosary will be said Friday night at 8 o'clock. Stevens Point Daily Journal 23 Nov 1937 Funeral of Mrs. Wisnewski Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Wisnewski, a fromer resident of Mill Creek, who died Wednesday morning at Manitowoc, were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Bartholomew's church at Mill Creek. Rev. Victor Hoppa officiated and burial took place in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers were John Tork, Felix Przybylski, Peter Przybylski, Felix Ludzinski, John Ludzinski and Paul Shulke. Those from out of town who came for the funeral included Mrs. Barney Wayerski and children, Dolores, Florence and Roman, and Mr. and Mrs. John Shulke of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wisnewski of Manitowoc and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gruczik of City Point.
