Joan had access to Ancestry and did some lookups for me there, and I've since sent off for records not online. Orin is my 3rd gr-Gp. If you plan to take this anther generation back, I think we are looking for the same Smith grandparents in New York, and there may have been contact between Orin and Reuben's children.
