I would anticipate that the Woolston family would have sailed on the same ship as Robert and Mary Mains in 1880, and emigrated as a family together (Mary being the mother of Jane Ellen Woolston). When the William and Jane Ellen (Jennie) Woolston travelled to Plover in 1872 for the first time, with their baby Mary Jane, could they have gone via Boston rather than New York? They arrived in Plover in July 1872. (Details of arrival and death of baby already supplied).
