I was hoping there might be some information as to when the McAuliffes arrived in Stevens Point. McAuliffe is spelled McAuliff, McCauliffe, McCauliff and MCauliffe at times. I wonder if there were many seamen who worked on ships and ferries on the great lakes living in the Stevens Point area? (In the 1800's.)
