    3. Hi All, I've just had some correspondence as a result of my mentioning this book by Wendell Nelson. It reminded me how rich a source it is. It gives birth and death dates of owners of houses when known and what they did for a living or that they had the house moved from one address to another or added a porch. If you can get it, be sure to check it out. If you want me to, I'd be happy to check for names or addresses. NOTE: it is not fully indexed. It is arranged alphabetically by street and, within each street, by house number. There is an Index by First Owner and by Style. Remember, the book is really about the architecture of Stevens Point. We're just lucky in that Mr Nelson was also interested in genealogy and local history and included as much of it as he could find -- and could fit on a one page description of each house.
