I called the county clerk yesterday but she said they don't do searches, although she did tell me the deeds are organized by last name and date. I know that my ancestors arrived between 1853 and 1859. Can you tell me what I need to do? I am in Texas but I could go to WI if I had to. Thanks for any help. Love your website!
