Miss Minnie was taken sick on the Monday preceding her death, with inflammation of the stomach. She grew rapidly worse, and by Sunday evening her parents were compelled to abandon all hope that her young life might be spared. In the afternoon of that day, becoming herself conscious that she would not get well, she took an affectionate leave of her father and mother and brothers and sisters, and after giving directions in regard to the funeral, how she wanted to be dressed, where buried, etc., passed calmly and resignedly down to the invisible line that divides the Here from the Hereafter. In the going out of this young life, the parents are left to mourn a loving and dutiful child, and her acquaintance, a bright and pleasant companion. The remains were taken to Plainfield, where the family formerly resided, on Tuesday afternoon, the funeral ceremonies being held at the M E church in that village, Rev CHUMA conducting the services. The remains were buried in the Plainfield cemetery, by the side of two brothers, and were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of sympathising friends. Good Templars resolution follows. Obituary as published in the Stevens Point Journal on Back Link: St Point Journal URL: <http://www.wisinfo.com/journal/>
