This couple had four children at Stevens Point from 1850 to Feb. 1960 The BLM has a record of a title transfer to Joseph B. Phelpsdated 9/1/1858. This was for the "NE quarter of the NW quarter of section 36 in township 24 north of Stevens East in the district of lands subject to sale at Stevens Point, Wisconsin, containing 40 acres." Do any of you have the maps and knowledge needed to translate that into a map location or latitude and longitude? They had their next child in Boise Idaho in August 1866.
