He was driving on North Second Street when his team became frightened and got beyond his control. In some way he was thrown out of the wagon and the wheels passed over his left foot and head. His foot was badly bruised and there was also a severe scalp wound on the head. It is also feared that he received internal injuries which may result fatally. He was taken into the store of Steve KRYGER, where he was attended by Dr. RICE. Later he was removed to a private house and his wife was sent for. He is a man about 50 years of age.
