I don't know a lot about the family but I do know he had 11 brothers and sisters. The brothers were Frank & Peter. THe sisters were Mary (Marcoux), Salma (Westnick) Julia (Bronk), Clara (Fedrich), Helen (Radtke) and Nancy (Willman). We got these names from the obit when he passed away. He was married to Pauline Pataska. Julia had a daughter Dorothy (Matthews). This adds up to only 9 but we do not know the other 2. John's father was John Czappa born in 1851, died in 1905. Most of my dad's aunt's & unclle's lived in the Milwaukee area which is why we don't know much about them. I would appreciate any further info you could provide us with. I just started getting into this research and am really getting confused with where to go and how to get back to where I have been. I thought my first name was unique within the family but have now found out there are 2 ancestors with the same name. I was told! I was named after my mothers sister Julia and my dads sister-in-law Anna.
