A. WIGHT, who died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. P. CHESLEY, was born at Meredith, New York, March 12, 1813. She was twice married, her first husband being Harry SMITH, who died two years later. Her second husband was A. E. WIGHT, who removed with his family in 1856 to Plover, where he died five years ago last September. She has since lived with her daughter in this city. She leaves five children, Leroy WIGHT of Amery, Mrs. J. E. ROSS and Mrs. J. P. CHESLEY of this city, Mrs. E. L. NICHOLS of Chicago, Mrs. Eugene WINSLOW of Brainerd, Minnesota. Mrs. WINSLOW has been here for a week past and Mr. WIGHT is expected tonight. Mrs. NICHOLS will not be able to attend. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. George ELLIS of this city. Of a family of nine children, Mr. WIGHT was the oldest and Mrs. ELLIS the youngest. The funeral will be held at St. Paul's M. E. church at 3 p.m. Sunday. Those who are already here from a distance to attend the funeral are Mrs. J. D. BEACH of Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. Levi PROUTY of the Veterans' Home, George NICHOLS and Miss Lorissa BODY of Brainerd. A number of other friends are expected.
