I've seen that he was supposed to be born in Indiana on the net but according to my great great grandfather's vital statistics he was born in New York and Eugenia (even though it does not mention her name) was born in Pennsylvania. I'd appreciate the information if you would like to share it. I'm about 95% positive that Wilford or Melford and Eugenia are my gggGrandparents.
