Recently found obits for Lucullus Stacy Pratt. He died in Dodge County at the home of his daughter Clara. One obit was in that county. Another was near his previous home. From the Dodge County Pionier, (German language newspaper) April 14, 1887: On Tuesday, the 5th of April, Mr. Stacy L Pratt at the age of 71 years at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. J.L.B. Thomas, in Horicon. The funeral was on Friday. From the Portage Daily Register, Wed April 13, 1887: Mr L.S. Pratt, a former resident of Arlington and well and favorably known at this place, died at his daughter's near Beaver Dam, on Wednesday. He was brought to Poynette, on 4:30 Thursday and buried by the side of his wife on Friday morning by the Rev. Mr. Benson. His son-in-law, John Thomas, accompanied the remains. He leaves four sons and one daughter to mourn his loss. Previous information on his death from Columbia Co Cemetery records gave his death as 1882. This appears to be incorrect.
