She had been admitted the previous day. Born In Poland Dec. 25, 1869, the former Anna Kalinowski was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kalinowski. She came to the United States with her parents at the age of six, living in Buffalo, N.Y., for a short time before moving to Stevens Point. On May 7, 1888 she married Albert Liss at St. Peter's Catholic Church, settling at the present address. Mr. Liss died July 31, 1941. Mrs. Liss is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Alvina Bemowski, Neenah; four sons, Ben Fox, Fort Collins, Colo., Nicholas Fox, 2320 Sims Ave., Michael Liss, at home, and Victor Fox, at home; one brother, Michael Kalinowski, 1249 4th Ave.; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one daughter, one son, and three sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Church, with burial to follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dzikowski Funeral home, where the Knights' of Columbus, of which Mrs. Liss' son Michael is a member, will recite a rosary at 7 this evening, followed by a general rosary at 8 o'clock SPDJ 24 Sept 1965 (Mrs Liss arrived in New York in May 1872 aboard the Athena. Her sisters were Katherine Wachowiak, Frances Przyblski and Mary Brill).
