He had been ill since April. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia. The Rev Thaddeus Szczerbicki will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Shuda Funeral Chapel, St Isadore's Society- he was a member of. Mr Karch was born Aug 20, 1910 in the Town of Stockton, a son of the late Mr and Mrs Michael Karch. He attended Custer schools and farmed until going to work at the Polonia Service Garage as an auto mechanic. He worked there 48 years until his illness. He married Agnes Firkus on May 24, 1932 at Sacred Heart Church. Survivors include his wife, one son Robert Delafield; five brothers, Edward, Polonia'; Michael and Henry, Chicago, IL; Daniel, 309 Verrill St, Whiting; and Ray, Hwy 66; five sisters, Mrs Leo (Matilda) Zaborowski, Town of New Hope; Mrs Agnes Rose, Chicago, IL; Mrs David (Helen) Schultz, 1009 5th Ave; Mrs Donald (Alice) Kizewski, Custer, and Mrs Eugene (Wanda) Domaszek, Town of New Hope; and five grandchildren.
