Mr WEBSTER passed away Saturday afteroon at the age of 75 years. His death came suddenly as a letter written to area relatives in the past couple of weeks stated he was in medium health. Mr WEBSTER came to Wisconsin from his native town of Bangor, ME, in the early 70's and made his headquarters in Stevens Point as an employee of the Wisconsin Central Railroad. He afterwards went to Phillips and engaged in the furniture and undertaking business, remaining there until his entire property was destroyed in the big fire of 1894. Mr WEBSTER then went west to Spokane, WA, his family following within a year. For many years he was employed as government inspector of timberlands, his special duties being to protect holdings owned by Indian tribes. Because of his exceptional ability in forestry work, his services were retained for two years beyond the age set for retirement. For the past three years he had lived with his only daughter, Mrs E I KILBOURNE, at Redwood City, some 30 miles south of San Francisco. Mrs WEBSTER, who was Miss Genevieve FERRISS, died April 11, 1912. The only other near relative of Mr WEBSTER is one sister, Miss Rena WEBSTER of Bangor, ME. Six brothers preceded him in death, two of them within the past couple of years. Joan M.
