Mr VOGT was born in Lanark 47 years ago. He spent his boyhood on the home farm in Lanark and when he was 18 years old went to Des Moines, where he had lived since. He was unmarried. Surviving are three brothers, William of the town of Amherst and Hans and Edwin at the homestead in Lanark, and two sisters, Mrs. Max Kosanke of Iowa Falls, IA, and Mrs Margaret Mallery of Omro. Funeral services were held at Des Moines on March 26 and burial followed there.
