Kropidlowski Brian W. Kropidlowski, 16, of Amherst, died Monday, July 7, 2003, unexpectedly in an auto accident in Stevens Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Ca-tholic Church, Amherst, with the Rev. Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, town of Stockton. In charge, Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Brian was born in Iola on Aug. 14, 1986. He was the son of Leonard N. Kropidlowski and Melba (Harrison) Elliott. He was a student at Amherst High School and would have graduated in 2004. He enjoyed working on the family farm and spending time in the outdoors while hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. Brian is survived by his mother, Melba (Scott D.) Elliott of Eagle River; father, Leonard Kropidlowski of Amherst; four brothers, Keith and Kevin Dobratz of Rockford, III., Leon (Ashley) Kropidlowski of Am-herst, and Mike Kropidlowski of Amherst; and one sister, Lisa Kropidlowski of Amherst. He is also survived by many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents, Anton and Elizabeth Kropidlowski. Kropidlowski Henry J. "The Silver Fox" Kropidlowski, 80, of 1600 Sherman Ave., Whiting, died Thursday, June 16, 2005, at St. Michael's Hospital. He had been in ill health the past few years. He was born on Feb. 20, 1925, in Whiting, to the late David and Verona (Zromski) Kropidlowski. He entered the U.S. Navy on Jan. 7, 1943, in Stevens Point, and was honorably discharged Jan. 19, 1946, in Great Lakes, Ill. He received the Victory Ribbon and the Asiatic-Pacific Medal with 4 stars. Henry was married to Ruth A. Kulich on April 19, 1947, at St. Peter Catholic Church. She died on Nov. 6, 1982. He was married to Vi Baum on March 9, 1985. She died on Sept. 3, 1988. Henry also had a special friend, Carol Buckman, for 14 years who died on Aug. 27, 2004. He was employed at Consolidated Papers Whiting Division, retiring in 1980. Henry enjoyed gambling and spending time with family. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Norbert) Besiada of Stevens Point and Ann Marie (Daniel) Duda of Junction City; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Gerald and Bruce (Lachelle) Besiada, Kimberly (Chad) Duda, and Heather, Kevin and Megan Duda; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Gerald, who died in Vietnam; three brothers; and one sister. In charge, Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. The Rev. Robert Pedretti will officiate. Interment will be in WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Edwin was born in the town of Stockton on July 3, 1924, the son of the late John and Sophia (Patoka) Kropidlowski. He was in the U.S. Army from June 1944 to June 1946. He served as a corporal in World War II. He received the American Theater Service Medal, Army of Occupation Germany Medal, Good Conduct Medal and European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Medal. After the service, he was employed at Preway in WI Rapids and owned and ran his own restaurant. She was married to Ernest Groholski on May 26, 1930, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church in Fancher. They lived in Amherst until 1944 when they moved to Stevens Point. He died Nov. 11, 1977. She was a member of St. Anne's Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include six daughters, Pearl (Jerome) Shuda, Mukwonago, Ruth (Tony) Suchon and Patricia Glen, both of Stevens Point, Josephine (Chester) Bungert, Menomonee Falls, Lucille (John) Herman, Arnott, and Maryann (Henry) Shirek, Daytona Beach, Fla.; one son, Gregory, Stevens Point; two sisters, Laura (Henry) Sopa, Milwaukee, and Verona Groholski, Amherst; one brother, Eddie Kropidlowski, King; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Pitcher, 66, 609 Mary Ann Ave., died Saturday morning, Aug. 30, 1997, in the emergency room at St. Michael's Hospital. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pisarski/ Dzikoski Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Friends may call from 2 p.m. Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home. Mr. Pitcher was born July 26, 1931, in Stevens Point, son of the late Herman and Daisy Pitcher. He attended local schools. His first marriage was to Darlene Newby. The couple later divorced. He was married to Dolores Stanchik on Oct. 1, 1963, in Indiana. She survives. The couple settled in Stevens Point. He was employed for the Copps Corp., retiring after 30 years. Survivors besides his wife include three daughters, Pam Zarse, Wisconsin Rapids, Karen (Nathan) Wells, Colorado, and Cindy (Steve) Flynn, Stevens Point; a son, Lenny, Scandinavia; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Claude (June) , Virginia. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

I did find that Pawel (Paul) was born 1852 in Poland. He died March 5 1910. He is buried at St. Casimirs Catholic Church in the Town of Hull. He was 58 at the time of death. Frances Cesieskis father was Joseph. I did find an obituary on her. She married Anton Cera 4-16-1913. She died 12-1-1939 following a stroke and other illnesses I believe. Im also interested in her last name because I also have Ciesielskis and Cisewskis in my family tree. I do have info on kids if you would like them as well. Sorry I dont have a whole lot to share. A family reunion is being held at Otto Brey County Park in Waushara County, Wisconsin to celebrate their 150th wedding anniversary of Nelson Ferguson to Christina Morse on Saturday June 17th, 2006 from 10am to 2pm. The park is located less then two miles from the original Ferguson farm in Warren. Christina and Nelson had daughters Ellen, Mary and Alice as well as sons Lester, Clinton and Henry. Nelson would also later have a son Orin. All descendants of Nelson Ferguson are invited to the reunion. Besides Waushara County, Nelson also lived at times in Adams and Portage Counties before living out his days and being buried in Iron River located in Bayfield County.
