Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/DFC.2ACE/2365 Message Board Post: Is there someone out there who could tell me if there is a Stevens Point City Directory for Stevens Point, Portage County, Wisconsin for the year 1890? I would like to be able to find my grandfather's family in that location at that time, if it is possible. There would have been the father, John Stefanski, his wife, Agnes Kujawa Stefanski, and sons, Thomas and William, and daughter, Frances. Please contact me at ruthmcarthur@comcast.net if you are willing to look up this information for me or can think of another means of documenting them for that time period.

When she married Max Goldstein in Chicago, IL in 1904 her name was spelled Malofski. I just happen to find today an Augusta Malofskie born 11/15/1886 in Chicago, IL to Joseph Malofskie and his wife Augusta. I found the Malowsky's, Malowskie's, Malofski on the LSD site. I have been looking for family for a long time. I believe that Jospeh had a brother Ben Malowsky who married Esther Munweis they are the parents of Fannie Malowsky/Malofski. I believe Ben had brothers by the name of Frank, Joseph and Frederick. It would be great if this was the same family. The information I have says this family came from Minsk, Russia. Let me know. Judy

The first meeting in the town of Stockton was held at his house in 1855. However, he is listed on the 1858 tax roll, but does not appear in the census for 1860. It is presumed that he either moved or died sometime between those years.
