Her parents were Martin Losinski born 11-10-1847 and died at the age of 65, 10-14-1913. He is buried in the Town of Hull and buried at the St Casimer Cemetary his wife was Josephine Literski born 4-12-1851 and died 2-12-1933 in the town of Dewey, she is buried at St Casimer's cemetary as well.

After short illness Mrs. James Pierce, a resident of the village of Plover since Jun 1 1856, passed away at the home of her son, James W. Pierce, at Plover Monday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock following a short illness. Up to four weeks ago Mrs PIERCE had been inunusually good health for one of her years. Since that time, however, she had been a sufferer with heart trouble and complications. BORN IN NEW YORK Jane ALLEN was born in Luzerne, N.Y Jan 23, 1832, and was therefore eighty-two years and twenty days of age. In 1849 she was united to James PIERCE in NY state and in 1856 they removed to Plover. She leaves two sons, James W, and Marcus F, both of Plover, Besides these she has two brothers, H G ALLEN, of Jacksonville, FL, and Elmer D ALLEN, Allegany, NY Mr PIERCE passed away in 1895 Mrs PIERCE had a large acquaintance in the county all of whom.... June was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one step-son, Larry; three sisters, Verna (Vern) CLARK, Dora (Ray) GOLLA and Zita (Carl) BIEGEL; a brother, Richard BEGGS; a sister-in-law, Mary (Jim) CHELEWSKI; and brothers-in-law Howard and Jake CHILEWSKI. Funeral services were held April 5 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma, with Rev. Ralph W. Hankermeyer officiating. Private family burial was held in Hancock Cemetery. Surnames: STINSON Classification: Biography Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DFC.2ACE/1778 Message Board Post: From the Stevens Point Daily Journal [Stevens Point, Portage Co., WI], Saturday June 8, 1901, Page 1 An Old Andersonville Prisoner James STINSON of New Lisbon is in the city visiting his son, Warren, who is a student at the Normal. Mr. STINSON was a member of the Fourth Wisconsin Cavalry and was a prisoner at Andersonville, Charleston and Florence, South Carolina, for eleven months, in 1864. While at Andersonville he escaped by passing himself off as a rebel sargeant but was pursued and captured. When brought before Capt. WIRZ after his recapture he was taken out to the blacksmith shop where a ball and chain were riveted to one of his ankles. He was then returned to the stockade, but converted a table knife into a saw, and with this cut the iron that was around his ankle so that he could remove it and place it on at pleasure. This was necessary, for the reason that the men who had been put in irons were inspected every day, and if it was found that the shackle had been removed a severer punishment awaited them. Mr. STINSON still has the iron that was placed around his ankle at that time. ADRIAN, 44, died in Stevens Point today. Mr. ADRIAN was born in Little Chute June 26, 1896. He was a WWI Veteran, an employee of several paper companies in New York and Wisconsin, and was married March 28, 1921 at Niagra Falls to Kathryn BRIGGS. She survives, with a daughter, Mary Kathryn and a son, John Robert. A brother and five sisters also survive. Funeral services will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic church, with interment in St. Mary's cemetery, Appleton. Hi, to all concerned, If you are recieving this email, then I am probably on your hit-list.... With the recent passing of my father, I have not been on-lne of late. In fact, I will be in and out of town for the next month (with little or no email access), so I would appreciate it greatly if everyone could hold off sending email files to add to the various websites I am maintaining.
