In 1925 she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. John's Church by Rev. Berven. After finishing the Elmwood high school she studied two years at the River Falls Normal, following which she taught at Middleton. At the close of her first year she was engaged for another year and it was while on her way back to school after her Christmas vacation on Jan. 3 that the accident which ended her life occurred. The funeral was held from the home in Elmwood and the Methodist church, as the Spring Lake church, of which she was a member, is not yet completed. Services were conducted by Rev. Berven; Burial was made in the Spring Lake Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her early and untimely death her parents and an only sister Leone, also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.
