Hello, I'm new to this list and would like to post my interests. I'm trying to trace the Ross family from Maiden Rock, WI. I'm particular interested in Luman and William Henry Ross. Luman was born New York in 1843 and enlisted in the Civil War in Cambridge, NY in Nov. 1861. He later moved to Maiden Rock, Wisconsin and married in 1879 to a Malinda. They had at least 3 children according to the 1900 census. William Henry was born in Maiden Rock in 1861, married in 1895 to a Catherine (Katie) Meng. I'm not sure where they married but they had 4 children. One born in Iowa, James Henry, two born in Nebraska, Ida and Anna, and Luman Lloyd in South Dakota.
