He had been a resident of Heritage of Elmwood since July 1989, and passed away there on Thursday, October 31, 1991, at the age of 94 years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Spring Lake Lutheran Church where he remained a member until his death. He was united in marriage to Agnes Timm on June 22 of 1927 by the Rev. S. Berven. They lived on a farm on Norwegian Ridge all of their married life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes in March 1966, and son James in February, 1990. He was also preceded in death by brothers Louie, Charles, and Arthur; sisters Laura Reed, Marie Johnson, Ida Jacobson, Julia Wild, and Viola Schofield. Henry is survived by his daughter-in-law Martha Jacobson of Rice Lake, and by several nieces and nephews. Henry held several positions of leadership in the township and the church, and the Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery Association.
