Nancy was born July 18, 1950, the daughter of Francis and Gladys (Aanrud) Netzell at Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She grew up in Minnesota and attended McKinley grade school, Marshall High School and Mechanics Arts High School. She lived in California for a number of years. On September 28, 1991 she married Richard Jensen at the Spring Lake Lutheran Church, Spring Valley. After being diagnosed with M.S., Nancy entered the Spring Valley Health Care Center 31/2 years ago. Preceding her in death were her mother; a niece Lisa Marie Ruzichka; brother-in-law Roger Jensen and father-in-law Lyman Jensen. Survivors include her husband Rick Jensen of Spring Valley; 2 daughters: Angela (Jeff) Poeschel of Reno, Nevada; Cheryl Benjamin of Reno, Nevada; 2 grandchildren: Echo and Marcus; 3 sisters: Joy O Relly of Knapp, Wisconsin; Barbara (Don) Ruzichka of Prescott and Corkey Andresen of Florida; mother-in-law Judy Jensen of Spring Valley; I brother-in-law Don (Cindy) Jensen of Spring Valley; 3 sisters-in-law: Sue (Ralph) Raymo of Spring Valley; Julie (Glen) Rasmussen of Roberts; and Karen Wilson of Hayfield, Minnesota; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley. Funeral services were Friday, December 15, 2000 at Spring Lake Lutheran Church, Spring Valley. Rev. Keith Holste officiated the service. Music was provided by organist Mary Jane Hecker and vocalist Charlotte Wentlandt. Burial was in Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Valley. Honorary bearers were Gail Rasmussen, Virgil Powell, Ivo Schlegel, Bill Hanson, Irv Pax and Scott Supri. Pallbearers were Brock Jensen, Cole Jensen, Nick Raymo, Mark Nyeggen, Scott Supri and Larry Traynor. Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley handled arrangements.
