Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/PierceObits/10166 Surname: Jornson, Hanson, Dahlman, Reichert, Johnson, Berglof ------------------------- Spring Valley Sun, March 9, 1950 Juditha Hanson Jornson Mrs. Juditha Hanson Jornson passed away at the age of 98 years and 8 1/2 months, on Sunday morning, February 26, 1950, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. H. Reichert in Minneapolis. The deceased was born, June 12, 1851, in Norway where she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She came to this country in 1873 with her husband, Ole E. Hanson, and her infant son, and settled in the town of Spring Lake. After her husband's untimely death in 1901, she continued to live on the farm where she raised her family of one son and five daughters. In 1912 she was married to John Jornson and they resided in Spring Valley until his death in 1924. Since that time she has made her home in Minneapolis with her daughters, Mrs. C. E. Leslie and Mrs. C. H. Reichert. Mrs. Jornson is survived by her son. L. O. Hanson, Oakland, CA.; four daughters, Mrs. K. S. Dahlman of Spring Valley, Mrs. O. T. Johnson of Goddard, Alberta, Canada, Mrs. C. E. Leslie and Mrs. C. H. Reichert, both of Minneapolis; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. One daughter Mrs. Oscar Berglof, preceded her in death in 1925. The funeral was held from the Spring Lake church on Wednesday, March 1, Rev. S. Berven officiating. Contributed by Joe Waddell.
