Mr. and Mrs. Foote, Lula Gibbs were united in marriage on December 20, 1906 at St. Lukes Episcoapl Church, Willmar, Minn. Rev. Haratis Gates officiating. Raymond, Minn became their home for some 20 years, but in 1926 they moved to Snohomish, Wash. After about 2 years they moved to Spring Valley, Wis and vicinity where they made their home until 1953 when they moved to Menomonie, Wis. Six children were born of this union: Wival, Beldenville, Wis.; Myrtle (Mrs. George Bruegger who passed away at age 25); Cecil (Mrs. Robert Fleischman), LeCenter, Minn; Leila (living at home); Lois (Mrs. Almer Strom), Manomonie, Wis; and Donald who passed away at age 2. Agrandchild, Marilyn now (Mrs. Daniel Wolter) on the death of her mother, Myrtle, also became a part of their household from the age of 2 to maturity. They have 15 grnadchildren and one great grandchild. Many frineds and relatives attended as well as several out of town guests.
