The 1900 Census for Maiden Rock for Pierce county indicates the following: Harry Carson age 63, wife Amelia B (Potts) Carson age 63, mother-in-law Sophia Potts age 82 living in same household. Other sources indicate Lucy A Potts was born in Maiden Rock in 1872, parents were James Mark Potts and Emma Spencer. She spent part of her youth in household of Harry and Amelia B (Potts) Carson, being married in their home in Maiden Rock in 1894 to Willard E Tubbs. ************************************************************ I’m trying to figure out if the James M Potts and J Mark Potts in the groom index, the J.M. Potts mentioned in the Notes in the Cemetery records are the same individual and how the family sequence went. Potts", "Ivah C., s/o J.M. & L. Potts" and “Wife w/o J.M. Potts" which might be an indication that "J. M", "J Mark" & "James M" are the same person.
