Hi all: Just wanted to put a word in everyone's ear about the GenConnect boards available on the Pierce County WIGenWeb site. I know that we are all sitting on small mountains of deeds, wills and obituaries for our families in Pierce County. I am hoping to persuade one and all to donate them to the Pierce County site. The GenConnect boards are extremely easy to use and can help you in your research by giving national indexes to the surnames you are researching. This not only benefits other researchers working on the same lineage, but can also put you in touch with other long lost branches of your family. Perhaps they have information to share that you do not yet have. So please, won't you consider submitting your info? It only takes a few minutes to post and your message appears within a day or so of submission. BTW, David Janes who has been working on the Hartland Township 1880 census has finished transcribing and I will be receiving in the next week or so to place online.
