It is assumed that he was born in New York State and migrated to Wisconsin in 1844 with his parents. I just received a copy of Record of Wisconsin, page 349 (No date) TYLER H. ANDREWS. The seventeenth line of this articles reads: The eldest Josiah W.., a farmer of Pierce County, Wis.; Vincent C. who is farmer in Dodge County, Minn.; Chilton E., who died in childhood, and Tyler H. The above names are the sons of Robert Andrews and Huldah Eugenia Webster who farmed near Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin Vincent Coryell Andrews born January 23, 1838 Mentz Township, Cayuga County, New York, died Ocotber 17, 1919 in West Concord, Dodge County, Minnesota (my great-grandfather) Tyler Harrison Andrews born October 4, 1840 Mentz Township, Cayuga County, New York, died February 16, 1928 in Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin (took over his fathers homestead in Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin) I have been working on the Andrews Family Tree since 1988 and until today had no knowledge of Josiah W. Andrews.
