Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/PierceObits/10038 Surname: Barr, Frodle, Sturgeon, Zirnheldt, Schommer, Ottman, McGillis, Radke, Colbeth, Wengler, Killian, Gutting ------------------------- Well Known Resident Of Trimbelle Dies Joseph Baar, an old and highly respected resident of Trimbelle township, died early Saturday Morning at the City Hospital in Red Wing at the age of 82 years. Mr. Baar had been enjoying good health until about four weeks ago. Death was due to age and complications. Joseph Baar was born in Austria, Germany, in the year of 1858. He was united in marriage to Josephine Frodle and to this union seven children were born. One infant daughter preceded him in death. Those who survive are Emil and John of Ellsworth, Rudolph of Goodwater, Canada, Mrs. John Sturgeon of Halbrite, Canada, Joe of British Columbia and Mrs. George Zirnhelt of Hazelton, N. D. Mrs. Baar preceded him in death in 1894. Later Mr. Barr married Lena Schommer and to this union eight children were born. Two infants preceded him in death. Those who survive besides his wife are Mrs. Lorin Ottman of Trimbelle, Mrs. Charles McGillis of Ellsworth, Mrs. Emil Radke of Hastings, Mrs. Albert Colbeth of Burkhart, Mrs. Nick Wengler of Belgrade, Minn., and Frank at home; three step daughters, Molly Killian of River Falls and Mrs. Thomas Gutting and Mrs. Matt Zirnhelt of Hazleton, N. D., 33 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services took place at 9:30 Monday with Rev. Fr. Mulligan officiating. Burial was at the Lost Creek Cemetery.
