She was born April 1, 1892, to the late Ole and Ingrid (Johnson) Hanson in the Town of Spring Lake, Pierce County, Wis. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith and was a life long member of the Spring Lake Lutheran Church. Her entire life was spent in Spring Lake and Spring Valley with the exception of a few years when she worked in the Twin Cities. For the past several years she was a resident, at the Spring Valley Nursing Home. Two sisters, Abbie (Mrs. Thor Anderson) and Mabel, and two brothers, Helmer and Oscar, preceded her in death. Surviving are: One, sister, Mrs. Mathilda Borst of Sharon Springs, Kan.; eight nieces and nephews among them are Joyce (Mrs. Lowell Martinson) and Thor Anderson, both of Minneapolis, also several cousins in the Spring Valley vicinity. Visitation was held Monday at, the Keehr Funeral Home in Spring Valley with funeral services Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Spring Lake Lutheran Church. Rev. Roger Kampstra officiated. Mrs. Donald E. Anderson was the vocalist and Mrs. T. C. Vanasse was organist. Buria1 was in the Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Glenn Nelson, John Nelson, Donald C.
