W. C. Aanestad officiating. Burial was in the Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Hanson died November 21 at her home. She was born Dec. 26, 1868 in Lille Elvedalen, Norway and came to this country at the age of 12, settling in Spring Lake. She was married March 9, 1888 to Ole P. Hanson. Survivors include 5 children: Matilda Borst, Sharon Springs, KS; Ida Hanson, Spring Valley; Oscar, Spring Valley; Mrs. Thor (Abbie) Anderson, Stanchfield, MN; and Mabel, Spring Valley. Survivors also include eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The couple's first child died in infancy and a son, Helmer of Kennewick, WA died in 1952. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and was a member of the Spring Lake Church since it was organized.
