He was baptized and confirmed in the Spring Lake Lutheran Church. On July 27, 1930 he was married to Ida Moyer. They made their home in Spring Valley where Louie was employed as a carpenter and construction worker until his retirement a few years ago. His wife Ida, preceded him in death in 1959. Also preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Albert and Selmer, two sisters, Bertha (Mrs. Fred Chapman) and Laura who died in infancy. Louie had been in poor health for some time. He entered Luther hospital about 3 weeks ago and passed away on May 20, 1964, reaching the age of 76 years, 10 months and 27 days. Surviving him are his brother Milton Anderson of Spring Valley, WI.; his adopted son Clifford Anderson, Antioch, CA and four stepchildren: Dan Barber of Hayward, WI, Clem Moyer of Villa Park, IL, Lawrence Moyer of Salinas, CA, and Gladys, Mrs. Seymour Kulwin, Chicago, IL. Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 24, 1964 at Spring Lake Lutheran Church with Rev. W. C. Aanestad officiating.
