Hogenson Anton C. Hogenson (Haagenson) was born to Carl and Sirianna Hogenson on May 14, 1874 in the township of Spring Lake. He was baptized and confirmed in Spring Lake Lutheran Church. He has lived most of his life on the home farm in Spring Lake until 1948 when he and his sister Inga moved to Elmwood. On March 1, 1951 he and his sister went to live at the Boothe Convalescent Home at Ellsworth, WI. After a few days illness he passed away on May 1, 1958 at the age of 84 years. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. He is survived by one sister, Inga, at the Boothe Home in Ellsworth and one niece, Muriel Nelson of Spring Lake. He has led a very quiet life and was devoted to his sister who has lived with him all his life. Funeral services were held from the Spring Lake Lutheran Church and burial at Spring Lake Cemetery on May 5, 1958. Rev. W. C. Arnstad conducted the services.
