She was baptized in the Spring Lake Church and attended school in Spring Lake. She moved with her parents to a farm in Rock Elm, then moved to Spring Valley in 1939. She graduated from the DeQuille School of Cosmetology and worked in Ionia, Mich., as a cosmetician for several years, also at the Golden Rule Salon in St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her parent, sister, Mrs. Abbie Anderson, of Stanchfie1d, Minn., and two brothers, Helmer and Oscar. Left to mourn her loss are: Her sisters, Matilda Borst of Sharon Springs, Kan., and Ida, with whom she had made her home at the Spring Valley Nursing Home for the past 4 1/2 years. She died Aug. 12, 1972, at the Memorial Hospital, Menomonie, Wis., after a short illness. Funeral services were held Aug. 15, at the Spring Lake Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roger Kampstra officiating. They were conducted by Gevnig & Keehr Funeral Home of Spring Valley. Vocalists were Pastor Kampstra and Mrs. Donald E. Anderson and Mrs. Glenn Nelson was organist. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: Glenn Nelson, John Nelson, Donald C. Johnson, Lyle Olstad, Caryl Carlson and Guy Bailey.
