I am trying to locate the family bible of Peter Lampman, father of Stephen Lampman, who lived in Pepin CO., since 1871. He settled in the Pepin area first, then Union Township, Pierce Co., Frankfurt Township, and finally in Durand where he died. His wife Mary A. (Lamb) Lampman survived him, and died in 1936. Their oldest daughter (Nellie) had the bible according to my grandmothers notes, until she died in 1941. One of her children was supposed to have recieved it then, and it may have possibly been a daughter named Bertha who married a Snyder or Sadie (?) who married a Glen Hall or one of the other ten kids. Anyone with any help would be appreciated. I am interested in the marriage, birth, death, baptism records, etc. I believe this bible should stay with its present owner as a family heirloom.
