Hello to All, I'm in search of the following family: Josiah P. Merchant md. Martha E. Bishop in St. Clair Co., Michigan, Aug 10, 1847. They had the following children before they disappeared: Francis A. b.c. 1849, William b.c. 1851, Almida b.c. 1856. All were born in St. Clair Co., Mi. They ar ein the 1860 census, gone in the 1870 census. In 1865 I've found in Pepin Co., Wi. Josiah P. Merchant recieved a land grant for 40a. He applied for the grant in Eau Clair Co. I should also say that in the 1860 Mi. census they have 3 of Martha's siblings living with them. They came from England bet. 1850-1860. Two sisters and a brother.
