The Lima Catholic church has been in two counties. I cannot remember for sure which two....I believe it is Pepin and Buffalo. The county line changed in the early 1900's ( if I remember my dates correctly.) If you look at a hand written Luna and a handwritten Lima you will find they are very similar. The Lima Catholic church was also German Catholic. I have history on the church that I can look at if you think this may be it. I am currently doing a transcription project for a web site http://www.usgennet.org/usa/wi/county/dunn/ and http://www.usgennet.org/usa/wi/county/pepin/ . The project is a history of the church including pictures, settlement of the German peoples in the area and early parishners. Good luck in your search!!
