I am looking for a lost family member- SARAH VOSSELLER/VOSLER may have married a KENDRICK ? I THINK SHE DID - BUT NO PROOF !! SARAH VOSSELLER/VOSLER ,BORN 1832 IN NJ, removed with parents and siblings to PA in 1848. Daughter of GEORGE F. VOSSELLER.Was in Wi, Durand, Pepin Co. by 1870 , I feel quite sure, but there I know in 1880. Sarah's father visited her in Durand in 1880 and stayed for a year. I believe she had a daughter EMMA J KENDRICK , born in 1863. Sarah's brother, WILLIAM VOSSLER,and his wife MATILDA were in NAPLES, BUFFALO CO. in 1870 I have made contact with some of William's descendants- but I have NO TRACE of SARAH in WI. Anyone researching the surname KENDRICK in PEPIN CO ?? does anyone have access to Durand, Pepin Co 1870 or 1880 census ? The last few years of babysiting grandchildren and caring for a husband in ill health has prevented me from getting and viewing census through the library- Any help - greatly appreciated. 3. Hello everyone! http://www.usgennet.org/~alhnwius/WI_index.html Just wanted to let you know that I have added a few more links on the WI State Topics page. And, the new sites from now on will be marked with a red asterisk to make it easier for everyone to find them. I have also added a few sites on a few county pages. These new sites will be marked with the words NEW SITE!!! in red also. New to the Adams Co. site is the Adams Co. Historical Society site. I urge you to check this site out as it is a great site with lots of local information to be seen. And if you have any links that you would like to add to the site, please email with the information. If you have a personal or genealogical web site that deals with Wisconsin, you can also have a link added to the ALHN WI site. (Linda - I know you want your site on there!) :) There is also a new link on the Oneida and Vilas Co sites for look ups that are offered by a volunteer. If you can offer to do look ups and would like me to create a page with your information on it, please let me know. I will be more than happy to work with you on something. Whether you charge for your help or not, is up to you. I would just like to give folks you need help in Wisconsin a few places that they can count on getting some correct information through. Our ALHN WI page is nearing 5000 visits! Yipee!!! Not too long ago we were only at 4000. I have also included a new webtracker on the main pages of the ALHN WI site. This way I can keep track of what the most popular pages are and where people are coming from. This tracker will even tell me what country visitors are from. I want to thank everyone that has taken the time to visit the site. It wouldn't be there if it weren't for all you wonderful Wisconsinites and your ancestors!!! Please take a few minutes to check out our updates at the American Local History Network - Wisconsin site. -- Cindy Johnson :0) NEW SITE! The State topics page has been finished (for now!<G>), and the counties page also has been updated. There are still come counties without information so anything you can help out with would be great! Also for those of you who have home pages dedicated to Wisconsin, please submit your site through the form from the front page. Thank you! :) -- Cindy Johnson :0) ________________________________ My Wisconsin Family History Page http://www.ameritech.net/users/cindyjohnson1/Family_history.htm 10 descendant outline trees Message board GREAT Links page Genealogy Hompages Links Mystery Pictures Cemetery Inscriptions for WI. & IL ____________________________________________________ NEW SITE! 1. [WIPEPIN-L] Annoucing the birth of a NEW site for Wisconsin only!
    2. Cindy Johnson
    3. Hi all! I have been working really hard to get most of this site done to show for everyone. The American Local History Network had asked me to be webmaster for their WISCONSIN site. This site is a work in progress that will compile historical as well as genealogical information. I have some very interesting documents that have been donated by some very generous people on the Wisconsin lists - thanks! The home page is done with a little information about the history of how and when the state came into control of the US. From there you can go to the individual counties listings that will show you what information is available for each county. Some counties do not have any information available for them yet, so if you have anything to donate that would be great. I will also be adding information from the 1853 U S Gazetteer for all to read - some very interesting information on that! There will also be a Wisconsin Topics page that will be categorized into topiv specific area of research and history AND of course, genealogy. There is a section for any of you who have Wisconsin sites to submit them to be on the page. Just make sure that you let me know the submition is for the ALHN site not my personal site. OK - that's all I am going to tell you. You can see for yourself what a 'trip' this site will be. Go to http://www.usgennet.org/~alhnwius/WI_index.html and see what is there! You can also access this site through my links page on my personal home page My Wisconsin Family History Page. Hope to see you all there and hope that others can help make this site grow with information and resources! 3. Hello again everyone! I have some very exciting news for all! I have been asked to take over the Wisconsin history/genealogy site on the American Local History Network ( http://www.rootsquest.com/~amhisnet/index.html )!!! I am sooo excited to have a new pet project in the makings. Right now there are just a few links and historical articles on the site. I would like to take the chance now to invite everyone that can to donate some piece of historical or genealogical information to the site. This is the first site on the internet to combine history and genealogy together. We do not want to take away from Rootsweb what makes it special. We are trying to add to the resources that are already available. Please take the time to stop by the site and give it the once over and tell me what you think. And also, please stick to the copyright laws - do not want to step on ANY toes! Let me know what you can donate to make the site as special as my Wisconsin Family History Page is. Thanks!!!! -- Cindy Johnson :0) My Wisconsin Family History Page http://www.ameritech.net/users/cindyjohnson1/Family_history.htm 10 descendant outline trees Message board GREAT Links page Genealogy Hompages Links Mystery Pictures Cemetery Inscriptions
