I did have the address of the other son. "Technician/Technical" kind of make sense. My grandpa's pre-Army job is listed as Mechanical Draftsman on his DC papers. I don't speak German, kind of an impediment to German research. I feel bad because on my Mom's side, her folks have been traced back to Moses (pretty much) but on Dad's I have so little (and I carry that name).
