Dear Cuz's, I have spent the last two days printing Census sheets, to record census information on, and the actual copy of the Census record for the families; Wynn [all spellings], Abraham, Hiday, and Ashcraft. When I look at the sheet before printing, I always look all the way down it, making sure, not only the person I am looking for is there, but also to see who else was living around them. I was very surprised to find the errors that Ancestry.com has in their searches!!! Example is, they show a William Abraham in Indiana, Miami County, Unk. twp. on Roll M 704_99, Image 106, Page 33, but if you look down that Census page, there is also a David Abraham a couple lines below William that they did not catch in their search!!! This means that several people in the family are being left not found. [Mind you this is with a last name only search, not a first and last name search] Please be aware!!!! Look down all the sheets don't just assume that all is as it should be!!! I have found this in at least seven places in the census in the last two days.... Please Beware!! Ancestry.com is a wonderful thing, but be aware of its faults. Cuz Becky ttg-inc@comcast.net http://www.ttg-inc.net http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ttg13/
