Becky, I received this message tonight. What does it refer to? What is the difference between WINN-L and WINN-D@ rootsweb.com? Dear Patricia, The WINN-L is the choice if you want to receive every e-mail as it posts from everyone... WINN-D is if you want the messages to come in a lump group a couple times a week. Patricia when you receive an e-mail from the WINN-L or D it can be coming from anyone on the list, and it isn't necessarily to you, it may be to a particular person or to the group as a whole... you will catch on as we go along.. if you see something you want to comment on or have a question on..just jump in, posting it to the e-mail address of: WINN-L@rootsweb.com As to the message about the book Royal Tribes, before you came on line, I had posted a message to the group saying that the book "A Pedigree of the Royal Tribes of Wales." was now for sale to us American's for $11.00 USA money, and if any one wanted one they could send him a check for $11.00 and it would cover the cost of the book and postage from Great Britain. Then Earl Earl came back and said that he hoped that it was more readable than Sir John's book, that was very hard to read..and I said yes it was very readable. I have seen most of his writing before it was put in book format. It is interesting and is about the 15 tribes of Wales... [they had tribes and chief's before they had kings and princes]. Hope that got you caught up.
