He was the son of John H. Winn and Olivia C. Swanson. John was born abt. 1865 in Rock Island County, IL. Olivia was born abt. 1867 in Galesburg. John's father was William A. Winn. I believe he was born in Ohio, but don't know when or exactly where. His wife, I believe, was Ellen Shoul, but I don't have anything for her either.
