Have been working on a transcription of the will of Green Wynn from 1820 Jones County (husband of Hannah G Tyus). The witnesses were Peter Reid, Robert Lafsiter (Lassiter) & Benajah/Binajah Birdsong. This is the first time I've noticed these names in connection with the Wynne/Wynn family. Do the names of the witnesses ring any bells with anyone?? Lisa, just a note that might help you in transcribing. Double esses (ss) were most often written to look like fs in old documents.
