Tony says: "Based on Ancestry.com, Robert Wynne left Canterbury, Kent England and landed in Prince George County, VA. In 1651 .... Now I'll follow my direct line. Winn, who had a son (in Ill.) Roy Newton Winn, who had a son, Ralph Winn, who had a daughter Colleen Winn, who had a GREAT son (that would be me) Tony Montville. ..... - Tony Montville" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yes, indeed, Becky. Tony and I found each other 18 Oct 2002 on the Message Board. I am, as you said, working on this line and so is Edna Alexander Franklin with whom I've been in touch even longer. Edna's grandmother Matilda Anna Winn, Tony's great grandfather, Roy Newton WINN and my grandfather, Sidney Gilford WINN were children of James Marion Winn, who was born in Wilson Co, TN in 1841. Roy N. WINN was my great-uncle Roy, a wonderful man and "baby brother" to my beloved grandfather, Sidney Gilford WINN. My mother, Sidney's only child, Marjorie Winn Harris, was Ralph Winn's first cousin. I knew and loved them all and it is SO GREAT to be in touch with "the younger set"! We can thank the WINN-List for that! Andie Harris Pooolside@aol.com Kailua, Hawai'i
